The purpose of these illustrations were to serve as visual references for users follow on the Alton Lane e-commerce website while shopping for custom suits, jackets, pants and etc. Some shoppers are unfamiliar with the components of some garment like jacket piping, lining and collar style. This feature informs the shopper on the components of a garment while guiding them through customization of patterns, styles and colors.

Results

The website illustrations improved the user experience. The customer success team received less inquires regarding garment customization as the visuals allowed a much more intuitive process.
